Gingerbread House Making Party

Two nights ago, we went to my cousin Heather's house to make gingerbread houses. There were about 19 kids who decorated houses. Also, a yummy potluck dinner with the whole family was included. What fun!

Motorcycle Races on Ice

A couple of weeks ago, we went to the Motorcross Championships on Ice. It was a surprise for the boys, and they loved it! It's not an event we would normally go to, but we received free tickets from my sister because they were not able to go. Surprisingly, I really enjoyed it.

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving at my sister Beth's house. We all brought a few dishes to compliment the meal. Yummy! We then went to my cousin's house for dessert. I wish I would have taken more pictures, but I was too into socializing I guess. :-) I did, however, get a quick shot of Hunter posing with these huge green fists that he thought was pretty cool.

Turkey Chase

Hunter ran in the Turkey Chase Fun Run this month. The Kindergarteners had to run two 100 meter dashes, and the next day they were pictured on the front page of the local section in the newspaper! What fun!

Trick or Treat

We went to our annual halloween party at Heidi's house. Hunter was excited to be a knight while Blake dressed up as Zorro. We had a great time! Lots of candy!

Pumpkin Carving

Here we are carving the pumpkins! The boys, at first, were put off by the cold, gooey interior of the pumpkins; but Hunter decided to go ahead and get messy. Blake, on the other hand, decided that it would be a good idea if mommy got messy instead. Hunter wanted a scarey face while Blake wanted a happy face. The boys were so excited that we lit candles inside the pumpkins to see what the faces looked like in the dark. Later, we roasted the pumpkin seeds, which provided for a nice before-bedtime treat.

Hunter's First Day of Kindergarten

Hunter's first day of Kindergarten went really well. He had a lot of fun! He didn't cry and was not upset at all when we left. When we first got there, he put his backpack and lunch away, looked for his assigned seat, and comforted his cousin Taylor, who was being a little shy. When he got home after a full day, he was really tired but looking forward to the next day.

Hunter's First Soccer Game

Hunter had his first soccer game ever, and they tied three to three. He also scored a goal! The game was sooooo exciting! By the way, he's number 2.

A Day at the Fair

Scott, Mom, and I took Hunter, Blake, Dana, and Taylor to the Evergreen State Fair. We were there all day, and the kids had a great time going on the rides, watching pig races, and eating cotton candy and snow cones.
